Commissioned by Historic Royal Palaces as one of thirteen works celebrating the Royal Menagerie at the Tower of London. This sculpture is positioned in front of the Wakefield Tower. Archives record that the bear was tethered, allowing it to fish for food in the Thames without escaping.
